It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

:party:  Today is my dA Birthday! Two years, I'm so young  :rofl:

730 days ago I decided to join and never regret it from this day.  :excited:  These two years were full of emotions and of beautiful encounters  for me.
I could practice my art with a lot of encouragements and beautiful supports.
I would never success this step without you. Thank you so much for these beautiful moments, for the three DDs I had, and please,
I express so much my gratefulness to all of you, my watchers and my friends, all visitors and wonderful groups where I am a member.   :glomp:

Il faut dire que les emoticons aident beaucoup à retranscrire un état émotionnel, c'est la raison pour laquelle ils m'aident particulièrement dans cette langue qui ne m'est pas usuelle, merci Patrick de ton indéfectible gentillesse à mon égard, je suis très touchée.
